Potential data center use — Hook Road-area property
Description
No site plan or developer yet, but residents pressed the council over the December amendment that added data centers as an allowed use; the council committed not to approve one and to research rescinding the use.
Impact summary
Residents fear higher utility bills, pollution, noise and lower property values; nothing can be built without further council and planning board approvals.
