A nearly ten-year opponent of the compressor station said NJDEP approved all permits that morning, and asked the township to help identify local ordinances and zoning that could slow or stop construction.

Read a coalition statement saying the public is misled that the project lowers energy costs, that the gas is not intended for New Jersey, and asked for township help ensuring construction complies with local and county regulations.

Said he is worried about the town's future and safety and urged the council to closely monitor the project and ensure all local and county ordinances are followed.
